Episode Summary
Stark instructs Bilquo to sing of the vileness of Silaqui. Paeris keeps watch at his sister’s side in the royal palace of Avisac. Torrin starts organizing the grand opening of Chotchkie’s. Devin is ditched by the gang and reads by himself at The Queen’s Loins. The following day, Torrin is looking to get the group together for the grand opening party, but when he checks The Queen’s Loins, they find it attacked as a retaliation by the Order of the Raven. The others inform Devin, who flies into a rage. A mob instigated by the OtR has formed in front of Chotchkie’s, burning effigies of The Five, chanting hateful slurs. Devin attacks them with fire, the others falling in behind him. The Tiefling almost incinerates the city, risks being killed by Torrin, his fireball wounds Paeris to mortal danger, and he ignores Stark’s pleas to take one of the insitgators prisoner for questioning. Devin ultimately runs off to the Queen’s loins, Stark in pursuit, while Torrin and Paeris let them go.
