Stephanie (in Boone's voice): Ahoy-hoy.

Ben (in Kallas' voice): Greetings.
Sean: And Matt who plays Cyrus.
Matt (in Cyrus' voice): Look into my eye.
Sean: Can I say that I don't understand this kiss kiss fall in love thing?
Kyle: I also do not.
Sean: Stephanie tried to say that she didn't, and then I don't know either, but I pretended like I did, so.
Matt: It's an anime.
Kyle: Yeah, nn, I literally after I said that, said that, I googled it, because I was like what is this actually that I am now saying.

Lauren: Yeah, it is. It's a stupid little anime thing that I absolutely adore.
Kyle: I'm gonna just watch this youtube video real quick, uhhhh, real just real fast, don't worry guys. We've got time.
Matt: It's pretty good.
Sean: Kay. So, uh -
Kyle: Alright. I have everything I need to know about this already. Cool. Perfect. Done.
Episode Summary[]
- The party gets breakfast and equipment for the desert from the tavernkeeper. They go into the Rainbow Wastes, guided by Tinker Gildrop. Night appears to fall early as they approach a rock face with two ogre-sized reliefs. They need someone of good heart to say the opening phrase, but they're not sure what qualifies. After some discussion, Tinker pulls out a gem and looks at each member of the party through it, pronouncing everyone but Cyrus worthy. Everyone closes their eyes, and Dagna says the phrase.
- There is a roar, and the sands beneath them shift. Cam pulls out the magic carpet, which first tries to fly away, then settles down and hugs him. A loud voice says, "Touch nothing, lest ye fall before me. Only your greatest desire may be attained within." After the rumbling stops, Dagna looks at the ground, and sees a cobblestone path beneath the sand.
- They make their way down the path, and the carpet swirls around Cam and seems to dance, leading him to a room that filled with gold, gems, liquor, everything adults desire. A shaft of light shines down on an eighty foot stone column five feet wide. The carpet has grown, and is now big enough to hold the entire party plus Tinker. They fly up the pillar, but cannot fly higher than halfway up the pillar. Dagna attempts to send up a mage hand, but it dissipates past the barrier.
- Tinker teleports partway up the pillar and starts climbing. He looks crazed, however, so the party sends Kallas up after him. Kallas gets the impression that whatever he wants is not in the party's best interest, and races to get it first. Cam attempts to message Kallas, which fails, and hurls two javelins at Tinker, who appears to be growing claws now. He beats Kallas to the top, saying it's for Kallas' own good. Dagna attempts Crown of Madness, but it fails due to the anti-magic field. Cam throws more javelins. Tinker appears to be in a time-warping field, so he is moving slowly. Boone throws a dagger. The party's attacks give Kallas the opportunity to catch up to Tinker, who is reaching out for an oil lamp. Tinker says he's trying to save Kallas, that he doesn't want to have to kill him. Dagna and Boone hold hands. Kallas stands next to Tinker, and does not stop him. Tinker grabs the lamp, and all magic appears to cease: all the gold disappears, and the room appears bare, with the stone pillar and a waterfall. Dagna messages Kallas to get back to the carpet. Kallas asks what Tinker's going to do, and Tinker says he's going to keep him safe. Cam flies the carpet up to the top of the pillar. Tinker rubs the lamp, and an Efreeti emerges. Tinker wishes that the party were trapped safely in the lamp, and Dagna successfully counterspells it. Tinker is devastated, saying that he had been trying to save Kallas, and that now Asmodeus was going to get them all. Then he falls backwards off the pillar, and Kallas dives after him.
